Part 1 - Why I Am Statements work and how we operate on programs

“I Am” statements are affirmations that are used as a way to declare something to be true about oneself. They are often used as a self-empowerment technique, with the belief that stating these affirmations out loud or to oneself can help to change one’s mindset and bring about positive changes in one’s life. There is some evidence to suggest that using affirmations can be helpful in managing stress, anxiety, and negative thought patterns. This is because affirmations can help to shift the focus of your thoughts and attention to more positive and constructive ideas. When you repeat an “I Am” statement, you are essentially rewiring your brain to believe the statement to be true, which can then influence your behavior and actions.
